I'll never understand the love for Rayman 3. The writing/voice acting was painful to sit through. They were desperately trying to vomit out a joke or innuendo every other line. Plus it shoved in some shallow as fuck combat.

Rayman 2 is fucking great imho. Even if the graphics are kind of dated the atmosphere is fucking amazing. Plus the display of imagination in each level is fantastic.

Rayman 3 is good but it doesnt achieve 2's brilliancy levels, so it compensates with humor.

I remember being so fucking disappointed that Raving Rabids was a thing. I was excited thinking bought the Rayman game for the Wii only to find out it was shovelware.

I can't remember if I thought the minigames were just a small part of it or if it or if I actually wanted them. I do remember disappointment though. But I didn't keep up with gaming news back the so maybe I missed it.

Rayman is honestly underrated we need a new 3D game, dont get me wrong legends and origins are fantastic games, but its time for a new 3d rayman

Same thing happened to me. Saw a new Rayman game in the store back when I was like 12. Purchased it without researching and then put it in only to find it was some shitty party game. I remember that the more mini games you complete, the higher Rayman was able to climb to escape his prison cell. I remember hoping that the real game would begin after that, but of course, that was the end of the game. What a piece of shit.

The game came out 11 years ago. Most people on this board were young enough that they wouldn't have been researching trailers.

I don't think I'd even heard of YouTube back then. Everyone used to just use the google video results. I guess even if I found YouTube I wouldn't have been able to watch anything anyway because my internet was so slow.
