It adds a lot to ezio, constantinople is great, and the end of altair was good.
Games below rev are:
AC1 (was neat concept and has the best lead up to a kill since you spend a lot of time gathering info, but the open world adds little and there are loads of things that are really bad),
syndicate (has some cool smooth moves and a nice idea with twins, but then jumps the shark with having a terrible city and story),
unity (graphics are a mess, story is okayish, but ends terribily, removes 1 hidden blade)
AC3 (terrible)

It still has the garbage AssCreed gameplay. The setting, sailing and shanties were why it was liked. Naval combat was extremely basic and the normal AssCreed combat is still "press E to counter-kill everything".

its a single city.
While it does have the right aethetic for the time, the gamplay of it is terrible, which is why they give you to grappling hook. Due the fact people use carts and roofs are slanted differently you can no longer go from roof to roof the normal way, so they have to put in the grappling hook. Which in turn kills the climbing aspect of the game.
The industrial sites just kill the flow completely. Just a few boring buildings with smokestacks you glide from. The insides are pretty good for some of them, giving a batman type of feeling when you crawl around the beams at the top to pick off lone guards, but others are bland. The architecture also doesnt look nearly as neat as that of older games. For example jerusalem its rich section was beautiful, almost like a fairy tale. Venice also was pure porn. I never had that with syndicate.
