The problem with Win10 apart from any issues with not being able to disable updates is that it is designed to spy on you in every possible way. Even if you turn off these settings, a lot of them will reset themselves upon reboot. Why would anyone ever consider a OS that has literally been designed to spy on you?

The only reason anyone will ever defend Win10 is because they are too lazy and/or stupid to change to Win8.1.

The only relatively safe alternative OS for gaming is Win 8.1 or 7.
You can always change the look and feel of it with classicshell, themes, rainmeter, etc.

I've never had forced updates, ads or any shit that retards keep complaining about on jewdose 10. I haven't done any registry edits either besides forcing my ethernet connection to act as a metered connection. You literally just disable like 4 services, that's it, if that. I think using a metered connection is all you really need desu and turning off obvious shit in the settings. There's even software like Spybot Anti-Beacon if you're worried.
If you think they don't spy on you using ANY Windows OS then you're a complete retard. I love how people suddenly care about privacy on an OS level all while using Chrome with nothing but an adblocker, no VPN, using social media, etc and using hardware like newer Intel CPUs that have backdoors built in and some popular motherboards.
Fact is, people use Windows 10 because Linux is still shit for gaming. If you really care about your privacy because you're a pedo, you're going to use throwaway hardware like a raspberry pi running linux. Less than $~100 for all you need.
