Where the fuck does he even find these games?
I don't get it, I've heard of a lot of games and lots of these are completely unknown to me.
>tfw reading PC mags in the 90s, having a couple of "1000 GREAT GAMES ON ONE DISC!" cds and knowing all of them
Still waiting for him uncovering the full versions of Rodge Rock and the DOS Stalker game.

dudes i've still got a box full of demo discs from the 90s.
ross is a god because he is documenting these old ass pc games. they might not be good all the time but he still tries to do what he can. even contacting devs who worked on those games decades ago and have moved on.
also hosting those amazing soundtracks on his website, like the RAMA soundtrack

>DOS Stalker game.
Stalker as in a stalker, or STALKER?
>>384592943
I think there's a lot of games in 90's that went under radar.
>mfw Bip Bop and Bip Bop 2
>>384594107
as in Roadside Picnic STALKER
There was an old DOS game in 1994 that already tried to adapt the book into a game but nothing but the shareware episode can be found online (which honestly isn't that much of a loss since the game is godawful due to its controls).
>>384594208
>S&M Software
>>384592943
Watching it reminds of all the games I planned to play after reading their reviews and forgot with time they existed.
>Arcade America
That guy has some fucking patience making it through that shit
I would have abandoned it long before then. It looked like it must have had a decent budget for the time as well.
That last game dungeon was just weird like Ross said how did board meetings go about for it?
>>384594592
if you think that requires patience look at the bip bop episodes
>>384594761
Bip Bop looked horrible as well, yeah, but Arcade America was just so obnoxious.
In any case, the guy is dedicated.
>>384592943
You must be a consolefag
Thriftshops
>>384594592
I wonder if he'll ever do Battle Beast by the same dev.
>>384595934
For PC games? Not likely.
Plus, the things he finds aren't shovelware, at least not all of them. Some must have had actual budgets.
That armed and delirious game had voice acting and everything and it was complete nonsense.
MOVIE
It's been awhile since I've been to /v/. Glad to see Ross gets the attention he deserves. Only worthwhile gaming youtube channel.
>>384596345
My only problem is that his voice can start to grate after a while
>>384593758
>DOS Stalker game.
the game is already playable
https://archive.org/details/msdos_Stalker_1_-_Path_of_Fire_1994
it's shit
>>384596478
Yeah I know what you mean. There's some sort of mushiness or something, I can't really describe it.
>>384596671
And it's only the first episode.
>>384596673
He always has the volume too loud
