What are some games where the simple act of moving your character feels good? I mean something like Okami where you move fast as fuck and have the lovely feedback of the flower trail. The same thing applies to Bayonetta when she's in panther mode.
It doesn't necessarily have to be fast. Just something that feels tight. Even something like Shovel Knight is what I'm talking about. Any recommendations?
Mario 64 and Zelda BOTW.
Hollow Knight deserves a mention as well, once you start chain dashing into walks to climb them.

V has probably the tightest movement I've experienced in a 3rd person game.
My memory of 4 is of clunkiness though, like only a half step from the PS2 era controls, especially around cover. But its been a while and I could be wrong.

Nier: Automata. It just feels fun running and jumping around.
Aside from tripping over the rocks in the desert area, I guess, but sliding over the sand dunes is really fun to balance it out.
