Why is Battlefield so stale?

LIke even the DLC is just a pretty map. The gameplay is the same ol tired gameplay

Fast paced gameplay doesn't belong to the Battlefield series, maps are extremely linear which leads to samey gameplay, dumbing down the game even more than it already is, their focus on infantry and neglecting vehicular warfare, battlefield youtubers done more harm than good to this game.
DICE is completely out of touch.
