Not all of them are like that, though Ryuji is the worst offender. Most of them just have beef with a particular adult that takes advantage of their life. Near the end of the game, they make some strong points about their fame-whoring and desperation to change people just for the sake of having something to do though. Plot can be choppy at times, but I still liked the themes more than P4, though I may be biased since I got so fucking sick of all the P4 spin-offs and crossovers that I started hating the sight of it.
