I was really happy about Haunting Ground because you have to use a special typewriter to create tablets that will issue commands to the golems blocking paths in parts of the level. You can write out complex commands to move them around the room or if you know your jewish monsters you can give them the death command causing them to immediately crumble into nothing.
But I can't think of a game with playable golems right now. Aside from Monster Rancher, but I don't think he's even in the most recent ones.

More of the same. Infested infesting things, Grineer getting fucked over by everything, Corpus doing fuck all. All the new story stuff revolves around your miracle potato child. I think concerning the actual game from the time you've played you missed out on Spy missions and Archwing, which is to say you aren't missing out on anything. There's going to be an open world level soon with fishing and world bosses and player invasions. Probably going to be pretty underwhelming since DE has never made a good boss and PVP has never been fun.

There's some fuckery with augment mods (adds to or changes a warframe's ability) and her spores that makes her okay, but it needs a status weapon to work (IE Ignis) and is honestly too much effort compared to mindless radial javelin(excal is gud now)/stomp/avalanche/etc spam.

I think the concept of fantasy worlds that have developed enough to have their own advanced technology in a "modern age" comparable to ours is pretty cool.
Sadly, I've only seen this in Final Fantasy and Yuushibu (extremely good world building for an ecchi anime). There's also Arcanum but it's set in an industrial revolution era.

Tech is generally more interesting than magic.

Most video game magic is "shoot fire, shoot ice, shoot lightning" with added debuffs for each. It may also extend to things like summoning minions or undead, healing, or changing environmental effects but really magic in video games has nothing new to offer, unless I'm just not looking in the right places.

In some cases, you can go way too far with the magitech and it's barely distinguishable from sci-fi. Asurans in Guild Wars 2 are a pretty bad offender and they're blatantly sci-fi in a setting where the second most advanced race is at a steampunk level of technology.

One thing I'd like to see with Magitech is more inherently magical classes who make use of advanced technology. I'm talking wizards who can magically guide bullets, shoot fireballs or make deflective armour enhanced with some sort of wind enchantment.

Definitely need to check out the Trails in the Sky series if that's a setting you like. The games take place 50+ years after the discovery of effectively infinite power leads to a massive modernization in distinct fantasy kingdoms, creating a massive disconnect between the populace and technology. People went from serfdom to internet in one generation, with all of the social problems that would bring. Really cool stuff.
