Sup /v/, I found the CD for this old gem earlier, and after a bunch of tweaking, I managed to get it running properly on my PC.
Sadly though, as you'd expect, recent controllers aren't recognized. I know JoyToKey exists and all, but I'd like to be able to play the game with proper analog controls. So, would any of you happen to know how if it'd be possible to do that?

Well, you see, the GC version is drastically different compared to the PC version. As a matter of fact, there's 4 big versions of the game:
-PS1
-N64/DC/PC
-PS2/GC
-GBA
To me, the PC version is the one that holds the most nostalgia, so that's why I'd like to replay it in the best conditions possible. Something I can't do by emulating the N64 version, which has terrible midi music, or the DC one, which only has bad emulators.
I'll try your solution, it's true that I kinda forgot this was even a thing.

I don't remember there being any situations where analogue sensitivity was important in this game. A lot of white knuckling the stick to the side though.
