You'll have a good time with Zelda. Definitely pick up Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and maybe Splatoon 2 if it looks interesting to you (the first game was one of my favorites on the Wii U which really surprised me). ARMS is kind of a meme at this point so don't get that unless you really think it looks good. I also got Shovel Knight, Snipperclips, and Tumbleseed (did not like it though), and would recommend the first to anyone and the second to people who have friends over for couch co-op.

zelda, spla2n, disgaea if you like that garbage, and then play the waiting game because its a new console and its not going to have a sizable library for at least another year
