I do remember the good old days but /v/ was always some degree of shit. The gays have increased dramatically, weebery seems at roughly the same level, and shitposting has eventually settled on gas the blacks race war now, but /v/ was never a good place to talk about videogames. Hell, /vg/ is garbage too. Forums have gotten shittier and shittier too though it's not just a 4chan phenomenon.
