There was one time where I had my first bout with carpal tunnel back when I was 12 or some shit.

Original mario party for N64 had minigames that required you to move the joystick in a circle. Problem was that the only way most younger kids could rotate it fast enough to beat the CPU was to put your hand flat on the stick, causing it to tear at your palm while you played. Hurt like hell

Nintendo started selling gloves specifically for Mario Party, and i don't think any of the sequels used that mechanic.

Due to how my left arm is positioned I now have cubital tunnel from gaming/typing.
Not the worst and I do wrist exercises now, not sure if it helps since a nerve in the wrist is pinched but meh...
