I want to play the Metroid Prime games. Should I buy Prime Trilogy

Either works

trilogy is better due to widescreen support and some texture upgrades for prime 1 (although water rippling and beam charge lighting effects are gone for some reason). Aiming is also a lot better for prime 1/2.

The biggest downside is that two bosses in metroid prime 2 were nerfed, one directly and another indirectly with the introduction of spring ball. the former is still one of the hardest bosses in nintendo history even with the nerfs though.

Both ways of playing it are great

Waggle controls are unplayable

The prime trilogy is convenient, but i wish i had the individual games when i played it. Can't remember why tho except that i missed that awesome prime1 main menu

I'm playing through this now. Finished Prime 1 (which was great until the Phazon Mines, and then was so-so) and am a few hours into Prime 2. I'm enjoying 2 but something about it feels like Zelda more than Metroid to me.
