But, those games realisticaly have no value to you, every game you really wanted to play, you bought near release date.
Philosophy behind consolecentric games is that they are not slowburner selling merchandise , they sell 90% of predicted copies in first 6 months.
Since its a closed ecosystem, they know very well how much/when and to whom they sold those games, so its really easy for them to predict that they wont sell anymore copies of that title.
So, they give it away as "free"(mind you, i dont blame Sony,M$ invented cancerous logic of Game Service with LiveOn,Sony at least gives you something to do until you paitently play WAITâ„¢ for that ONE FUCKING game per year you actualy want to play).
If you look at those game more closely, they are usualy 1.99$ on Steam(while sales or later on).
In a way, Steam keeps shelflife of thosegames much longer on account of mods and communities.
I dont own ps4, but im interested, if i buy now brand new ps4 and PS+ for a year(so,not one bluray bought ), how many games would i have access to from a get go(no free to play titles or microtrans). Is there a list,is it retroactive?
