Pretty sure if one of the companies bought exclusivity to one of the "big five" (gta, fifa, cod, minecraft and recently PUBG) it would well and truly btfo the others.

In that same year, a months later no less, a multiplat game came out that made the normalfags who infected video games after Halo look like huge nerd losers. In a middle school, kids got mocked for playing Halo, one blink and it was no longer the cool kids game, a higher level of normalfag had arrived.

Big AAA companies only take exclusivity deals when they think the benefits will outweigh the cons (Sony/MS pay up a large sum of dev costs or they know the game won't sell a lot even if it went multiplat) Well known IP's like GTA and FIFA are too big and would leave too much money on the table by not going mulitplat as the would easily make up the dev costs tenfold.
