I while back, when BOTW came out I bought a used Wii U for about 100$. I considered buying a switch but I really had no interest in any other Nintendo games at the time or anything. After hearing about you guys talking about Splatoon 2 I was wondering if the first Splatoon on the Wii U is any good, or if anyone is still playing. I'd like to go out and buy it but if it's player base is dead I ask what would be the point.

tldr: Are people still playing and enjoying Splat Tim original
