These and Skyrim. The signs were there regarding the other two but I got legit tricked with Skyrim. Took a while of play to realize I was playing a grossly uninteresting game.

Xenoblade Chronicles X. I'm still angry. The game had a phenomenal team behind it and they produced really nice graphical assets. This makes the following even more painful:
>SHIT SHIT SHIT music
>boring gameplay mechanics
>literally no character MC
>other characters are less than 1 dimensional
>TERRIBLE VA
>no option for Japanese VA
>huge world with no plot motivation to explore
>fetishware for children
>censorship
>literally no story
>yet still managed to end with a cliffhanger
