Even that was absolutely horrible from what I hear. No customization, only 6 tracks, 60 cars, no campaign...

I never had an xbox to play the Forza games but I would love to finally be able to play it on PC. I'd gladly temporarly install Windows 10 on some old hard drive I don't use just to see how the game runs, and maybe I'll start using Windows 10 after a while.

Maybe they have fixed it, but the initial experience was so souring, it turned off future adopters. Not to mention this is effectively GFWL all over again; being tied to an OS many people despise and a storefront most people aren't comfortable with. The good thing is that Windows 11 might not be so bad, so you can play Win 10 games without dealing with Win 10, much like how Win 7 allowed you to play Vista games.
