Is it feasible to have two rangers in my party instead of two mages?
I really want my pawn to be one and I just am not enjoying the other classes for myself

I wish there were more ways to "teach" our pawns, something like ordering them to cast a specific spell for example, or just more orders beyond Go, Come and Help (For expample "stay the fuck there you little shit). It is neat and all that they learn by observing what you do but sometimes you don't want that. If i am playing a strider/assassin and I climb on to a cyclops to smash at his fucking eye I don't want my mage/sorc pawn doing the same, i want it blasting the faggot with lightning to keep it stunned

You basically have to teach your pawn by changing to his/her vocation and acting like you'd want them to act. And you have to do this long enough so their behaviors are set strongly enough that they won't get changed.

Of course you could be a little smarter and pay for inclination elixirs. There is one google docs that details how to give your pawns the elixirs in order so their 3 main inclinations would remain "locked" (Not truly locked but they would be so high and the others so low that it would take a really long time of wrong behaviours to change it)

I'm in the post-game now and shit got real. Should I be going to BBI or everfall first?

I just killed the hydra in the frontier caverns cuz it wanted a second round apparently. I also killed a few drakes, a wyrm in the watergod palace, and a cockatrice.

Haven't killed a Wyvern yet because the only one I encounter will fly off towards the waters near Gran Soren and just dip in and out of the water like some bitch. Can't reach him and he's done it twice.

I'm loving the game this time btw.

it's mechanically closer to Dark Souls. Compared to Skyrim, it's less roleplaying and more combat oriented, which is good because the combat is leagues better than Skyrim
It can get a bit grindy and a bit overwhelming at the start when you're trying to figure out stat growths and pawn personalities, but it's a very fun game

Just make sure you have a typical party composition that has tank, dps and healer and you'll be fine. If you're feeling good you can try other stuff such as all dps or run with a smaller party or whatever, everything works in this game. The challenge is more in figuring out how to beat bosses or big monsters (but that is generally obvious or will be made clear quite quickly during the fight).
