I'm in the same category more or less, the only new games I play are stuff /v/ barely talks about, mainly grand strats or normie shit like fifa or pes with a friend
honestly have stopped feeling like wasting money on consoles or pc upgrades. still have a pirated 360 I still play from time to time, mostly couch coop shit, and have bought a ps2 with freemcboot which I'm having a blast with at the moment

I still occasionally play new games but the last console I bought was a 3DS 4 years ago. And it was probably my most dissapointing Nintendo console ever, it's the only one I've ever had that has broken during its own lifetime (Gameboy, GBA, SNES and Wii still work, my DS only broke a couple of years ago). And most of the Nintendo series that made an appearance on the 3DS ended up ranging from bad to okay.
