ogplanet, the original hosts of the NA/global server refused to hand over character/server data to the new hosts, so everyone that'd been playing since 08 or 09 lost their characters. The new server is absolutely barren, on top of being hosted fucking brazil.

It'll never become tibia 2.0, tibia was a perfect storm and a replacement for the lack of support for runescape in brazil. That's literally why it got off the ground there at all, considering it was absolutely demolished by runescape just about everywhere else in the world (Excluding asia which was jerking off lineage/2)
