it's going ok. Bugfixing everything since all the content is done, but it's a huge job because the game is pretty big now. I've had to rewrite one boss completely because it was broken to hell, but it's coming along
gif recorder makes the boss look a little funny, but it's fine in game

added a button to the ship to control the speed of the cruise control and increased the speed of the scooter so if you set the cruise speed to the lower one you can easily catch up to it, enter, stop the cruise and go retrieve your scooter that's 3 meters away to park it properly.

Now working on player death. Checked a tutorial on the timeline tool in 2017 so i might use that, not sure.

I'm hesitant to believe you since that gif appears to have accurate frame rates and this has absolutely no player feedback. There's no hit spark, no puffs of smoke when the things hit the ground and die off, and your colors are all over the place.

When I look at >>384329389 I see a habit of lacking player feedback and knowing how to animate weight. The statues literally just go one frame to the next, and sure you could blame that on it being a work in progress, but the weightless "slide around without a shadow, animation, or weight" is so silly.

Is the statue sliding on the ground? Is it floating? Is it some kind of demon armor? Is it supposed to do that, or is it supposed to look broken?

And why are the walls in that room not outlined when they are elsewhere? You've got some brushing up to do.

Not to rag on your game, but these fights seem pretty boring.
I get that the flame-skull-turret would be more effective and anxiety inducing in a room full of other enemies and turrets.
However, the boss just seem eh.
Why does he have a axe if he's not going to use it?
Why doesn't he continuously move?
Why did he rip himself in half?
Does his lower-half activate and start charging at you after a certain point?

It all just seems a bit rough.

That boss is the very first boss of the game, and it's simple for the few players who are new to this genre. Anyone who's played this genre before will steamroll the first half, but that's the same as any game really
It's a statue breaking off from the base. It makes sense in context
I won't lie, it is rough. But there's a decent amount of content that needs to be playable before I can make anything look fantastic. It may sound like I'm being lazy but there's a lot of work involved in making all this function
