That one Taiko game was made specifically for the western audience, it had a bunch of American pop songs, but the game didn't do too well, because nobody was going to buy an expensive peripheral for a single obscure niche game. The game was also way too easy, even compared to other Taiko games at the time with the hardest song being the Ridge Racer theme, which honestly feels like a 7 star song at most.

playing through mystery adventure right now, first taiko game and i love it. Grabbed an english menu patch to help out, but unfortunately the rpg mode isnt patched yet do ive just been playing arcade mode
