The soundtrack isn't better than the classic house sound the first two had, but I can appreciate SOR3's harsh sound, it really sets the mood to beat people up.
There's some really great shit too, like Fuze, Shinobi Reverse, Random Cross, The Poets I and II, Percussion, the boss theme -- fuck, that's half the soundtrack already.
Also, the enhanced movement is really nice, run and side-dodge are really nice.

People only struggle with it because they try to play it like SOR2. But once you figure out what works and what doesn't, then the game is not hard

In SOR3, with blaze all you need is her jump kick, jab, grabs, and specials. With Zan, replace the jump kick with his shoulder tackle.

Depending on your character. Blaze or Zan breezes through normal. Axel is a challenge. Skate is a struggle.

I was able to no-continue SOR3 normal with Blaze and Zan on my 2nd try. Blaze's jump kick is OP. Zan's shoulder is OP. If SOR2 is played like Tekken, then try to play SOR3 like Smash.

Regardless, in terms of gameplay, the difficulty boost was a good thing.

BK3 can be beaten by spamming blitzes. First time I played it on the hardest diff. I chose Zan and no-deathed the entire game doing nothing but shoulder tackles on the bottom of the screen. It's easy with Blaze and Axel too.

Use specials on them. There's a free turkey in that fight. When they get close, use your special. Test it out yourself and see which special works better per character. The damage is not bad on the neutral special btw. Try to hit both bitches with one special. Once you've drained most of your health due to using specials (obviously you want to space them out so that you can get as many FREE specials as possible) then eat the turkey, and repeat.

In that fight, specials are waaaaaay more efficient than jump kicks.

I think it was neat that the first major fight was the mid-boss from the very end of SOR2. It made me feel that shit got real right at the very beginning of SOR3. Also you don't get to truly beat him as he runs away. I think the whole presentation of the fight in bad ending path completely made up for you not being able to get the true ending. The thing about WoF is that once you get good at the game, there is like literally no random chance that will fuck you up. the game doesn't have shit like that

In Final Fight, even if you're a boss at that game, there's certain spots where some random chance will fuck you over (e.g. fat asses decide to bullrush constantly, gados decide to stay out of reach with knife while you're downed, etc), and there's certain spots in the game where you need a bit of luck (such as the fight before the last boss).

obviously i was exaggerating in comparing it with punisher so calm your tit

but when it comes to WoF, once you're good, the game doesn't have any curveballs to throw at you. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I actually LIKE that. It's one of the funnest beatemups out there. But that doesn't change the fact that it's pretty easy to 1cc with Guan Yu. You just need good fundamentals.

Except there are, in WoF you have chances to fail grabbing enemies while that never happens in Final Fight, enemies hit the air for no reason at random, sometimes they outrange you just because they want, sometimes they hit you many times without even a knockdown etc.

Final Fight isn't all that hard, it has some cheap stuff like the fast slide gados, but overall the AI is a lot more predictable and less aggressive than wof. Boss 6, 8 and 9 are harder than any boss in final fight also

Can you explain this. It's the hardest beat em up I've played.

The second stage boss is nuts and all the tactics against him are incredibly high risk.

The enemies and numerous enough so that if you get knocked down sometimes there's no real way to get back on the offense short of constant spam of the suicide attack.

Plus the whole game is ridiculously long. Compared to other beat em ups enemies seem to have twice the normal amount of health and there are twice as many of them.

Enemy AI is fairly predictable once you learn them. A+B attack consumes very little hp so you can spam it a lot to avoid danger. Getting knocked down is only dangerous in specific parts with high tier enemies. Sodom if fairly cheeseable, it's all about having a plan for his weak up and focus on grab.

I'm not a big fan of SoR2 but that game in mania is a lot harder than Final Fight with much more aggressive AI (although it's also balanced differently because it gives you a shitton of extends unlike Final Fight).

I'm not that fond of either, but probably prefer SoR2 for dayum hit sound and not having that weird combo mechanic
