Anybody else interested in picking up a fighting game after watching Evo? Blazblue's on sale on PSN, and they've confirmed it'll be supported over a long time instead of being outdated in a year. It's a good place to jump in. I just downloaded it, and it'd be cool to play alongside other beginners.
You should go to /blaz/ and join their discord to find people.

What region is it on sale? Central Fiction shows full price on the psstore webpage and PS4.

EU is having a sale, I think its like 17-18 euros. There is no region lock too so you can still play against anyone who has a us or jp copy. However the DLC has to be purchased through the eu store.

No sale for me here in US. I can't believe PS doesn't have a huge evo sale for fighting games. They'd make a ton of money from people who were interested by EVO.

It's worth having a backup EU account in general. There are some pretty good sales here that the US misses out on. The sale that's on currently covers most big japanese games available on PSN, it's pretty good.

Do they accept credit cards though from amerilards? I have a japanese account and I have to buy cards.

They don't do credit card but you should be able to use paypal without a problem. If not you can buy PSN credit through codes, playasia has all regions I think and deliver instantly. If you pick it up, come over to /blaz/
GG is more my thing despite playing BB first back in CTon PSP. CF is just so overwhelming in everything that I'd rather just wait for UNIEST (and BBTB)

UNIEST looks cool. Blazblue doesn't seem as intimidating as GG to me since every character has the same weight, and there are no scaling defense values or anything like that. It should be fairly accessible if you start slow and work up.

The overly offensive and combo heavy nature of the game turns me off. GG is much simpler in that regard.
