What setting/armor from that setting do you want to see in the new FROM dark fantasy game?
Greece or ancient egypt myths could be neat
Medieval Russia

Right one looks kinda interesting
Any armor made to look like a face would fit right in.

Probably won't happen and most probably wouldn't care for it but I feel like a gothic horror style early 1900s would be awesome mixed with a classical setting.

so
bloodborne

Kirk? Is that you?

>bloodborne

Yeah, I would say Bloodborn is more of a mid-Victorian setting. 1900s would be more like ww1 where we are starting to see war machines and stuff like that. I was just thinking it would be a cool mix.

Mesoamerica
Old diving suits are creepy as fuck! I don't care if it's been done.

But running naked with stone weapon isn't fun
>>384284374
bram stokers dracula with huge castles, spooky music and cool looking monsters
three games in and still no winged hussars
Hyperborean/ancient European

Because it looks fucking stupid. Get better taste.
>>384288782
Say what?
>>384288737
Would be nice, but it wouldn't be the same without werewolf monsters
And with them people will call it bloodborne ripoff
Even without them tehy would
>>384288061
The Old Hero from Demon's Souls always gave me that vibe. Might have been Indian though.

WE WUZ
It's actually strange that they never used roman armor
>>384288594
>running naked isn't fun
souls players already run around naked for fun
besides, drawing from that setting would allow for really cool armor aesthetics, regardless of the actual history of what people tended to wear.
>stone weapons aren't fun
don't forget wood, and I don't see why they can't be fun as long as they look and feel cool.
hell, they might even just make them metal anyway. from made an effort to make weird, interesting, unrealistic weapons in Souls and Bloodborne.

I think it's just a theme choice. When you go into BC time, the vibe changes. Personally, I wouldn't say ancient roman its into any kind of horror genre. I'm sure they could do it in a way that worked though.
