If you like management sims, then TL is a pretty good game.
There's a bunch of QR codes of Miis already, and you could probably find them by searching (character) Mii.
Streetpass isn't a necessity by any means.

It held my attention for like 4 months. The humor and gameplay reminded me of seaman for the dreamcast.

It's an ant farm simulator. It'll distract you for a few hours but you'll quickly realize there's nothing to fucking do or work towards.

I'd probably just buy a used one for under $10.
It acts more like a phone game where you play once a day for a few hours and burn out it's contents until the next day. I just used it to insert persona characters and see how they play out.
