Not my fault Overwatch was built around characters countering each other. Honestly that's the only thing that really makes me dislike the game considering how fun Bastion is when the enemy team does nothing to counter you. Snipers are supposed to fucking snipe. This is a perfectly normal function of any FPS.

Widowmaker does it from far away, and is dependent on charge up time and line of sight.

You are also expected to be making pushes under the protection of a tank vanguard, where a more mobile character like Tracer or Pharah can close the distance and really start tearing things up at mid-close range.

Inversely, people do have issues with Hanzo who can spam arrows with impunity at close range and get some cheap kills.
