>Claustrophobia: The Game
I'm really trying to give this game a chance since half of the people that shit on the game probably didn't play it, but I need to vent. The way the early part of the game is designed is disgusting. The enemies soak damage and are notably more aggressive than in DS1; I'm ok with that. What really makes my dick bleed is the fact that nearly every encounter before the second part of No Man's Wharf takes place on a platform surrounded by a pitfall. This is gay as shit, because it makes the beginning of the game a chore for magic users (speaking as someone who went with soul arrow). The game feels like it wants you to be in the enemy's face at all time which takes the fun out of non-tanky/high stam builds at the start. I swear, I've died more times trying to get some breathing distance than I have actually getting killed by an encounter. Does this shit get better? I'm ok with the aggressive mobs, and the high health enemies, but the level design in this game so far is lame as fuck.

Put ~250 hours into DaS and ~100 into DeS. Just haven't felt like playing DaS3

I'd accept that if I were dying to enemies over hazards. Like, totally-not-undead-burg handled ambushes right. I also like how NMW ambushes are after the bridge area.
