I don't have the same problem with the chalice dungeons like a lot of players do. But I wouldn't say they're better than the main game.
The chalice dungeons really lack in variety in environments and enemy types.

Same, I don't get all the hate they get, plus they're completely optional so if you don't like them, don't do them. They're not awful, they're not amazing, they're just fine imo.

i also didnt like them at first glance, but once i started to get deep it actually became fun, a lot of it was also the fact it had exclusive bosses, some of which were freaking great.

They turn into shitty imbalanced boss rushes once you learn the layout.
