Why does everyone hate one of the best games ever made? Are they

This game would be perfect if they fixed enemy respawns and added neutral or allied NPCs outside of towns.

I'm not too fussed about having friendly settlements outside of the towns but I admit the enemy respawn are quite horrible. Escpecially when you go a few hundred metres then turn around and they're already back.

>all respawn for return trip
game is tedious as all fuck between that and your gun jamming every other shot
Farcry 1 was genuinely hard, this one was just fucking irritating

The only problem I have with this game is the respawning outposts. But otherwise Farcry 2 is a hidden gem.

You can drive around them.
Also gun jamming was fine, just don't pick up the shitty rusted guns from enemies.

I've played like a 100 hours of this game and I only came across jamming like 3 times. Did people not regularly swap out their equipment?

Was playing the game in 4k the other day. The graphics still hold up and look amazing at 4k.

Higher resolutions can absolutely breath new life into games.
