Can we have a discussion about P4 criticism before all the Yu fags come out of hiding?
>Lackluster characters compared to P2
>Worse setting than P3 or P1, there's nothing really interesting about Inaba and the game has no idea how to capture the small town charm vibe
>No tense moments until the game's climax is already over, it feels like nothing is really at stake for the characters until Nanako is involved
>Dating sim mechanics aren't improved from P3 at all, and the bland female characters make it even more unappealing
>Combat is definitely more refined from P3, but the dungeons still feel like a slog, and the shadow selves are poorly executed compared to Tatsuya, Lisa, or Jun's shadows
>Yukiko and Chie's juvenile problems are the only realistic characterizations in the game, as Naoto, Kanji, and Rise's dungeons were handled poorly as well as the aftermath of defeating their shadows
