Can we have a discussion about P4 criticism before all the Yu fags come out of hiding?
>Lackluster characters compared to P2
>Worse setting than P3 or P1, there's nothing really interesting about Inaba and the game has no idea how to capture the small town charm vibe
>No tense moments until the game's climax is already over, it feels like nothing is really at stake for the characters until Nanako is involved
>Dating sim mechanics aren't improved from P3 at all, and the bland female characters make it even more unappealing
>Combat is definitely more refined from P3, but the dungeons still feel like a slog, and the shadow selves are poorly executed compared to Tatsuya, Lisa, or Jun's shadows
>Yukiko and Chie's juvenile problems are the only realistic characterizations in the game, as Naoto, Kanji, and Rise's dungeons were handled poorly as well as the aftermath of defeating their shadows
>While the game's central theme of the power of friendship is drilled into your head a million time, none of the IT seems to bond unless Yu is around, and they don't seem very close when he isn't in the picture
>All the build up of Naoto being an ace detective is promptly shit on as soon as she joins the party
>Adachi is more likeable than 90% of the cast and by the end of the game, you're rooting for him instead of the chad mc and his scooby doo gang
4's best moments were the SoL events. Story is LOL as well as the characters

Nurse is the best part of P4

>Still the face of ther Persona series
>cucked Threekun out of his girls in Persona Q
>Gonna be balls deep in Ruby Rose while Joker doesn't have a single spinoff yet
HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT
>compared to P2
It has lackluster characters compared to pretty much every other Atlus game ever made with the exception of the second Devil Survivor.

implying any of the characters from the first game were good
