When the fuck did this become acceptable?
Capcom could literally just make a Powered Up 2, or hell, just port the first game onto the PS4, and people would eat it up.
Is Capcom really so bad that even Sonic Team, the team that tore Sonic's reputation clean in half, decide to just let the fans make one of the best looking Sonic games since 3&K?

Does Capcom hate money? Or do they really just believe the series is over aside from a few rereleases?

The collections are pretty good actually. If the second one is on PC that means 9 and 10 will be on PC natively which is cool.
