Not entirely original, but I wouldn't mind an FPS/Survival Horror game which is set up like every Call of Duty game.

Intro starts out introducing you as part of a special ops/black ops kill squad sent in to terminate a cell or encampment of rebel soldiers and their liasions/allies/allies. The trick is that the moment the campaign starts your PoV is shifted to one of the bystanding rebel soldiers and instead control him/her as the aforementioned Mary Sue murder machines arrive.

Your objective would be to survive and reach the extraction point. The enemy (who are usually the player characters) would be bullet sponges, can regenerate health when using cover, use a gorillion different gizmos and grenades to fuck up every bit of cover you might have.

Secondary objectives would include helping wounded allies, set traps, find the loyal sidekick of the good guy commandos (such as their spies, double agents or communications specialists) and assassinate them.
