But that lowers the standards of games overall, if the average person can enjoy an unfinished, unpolished, and incredibly shallow game, then there's no reason for developers to make exactly that. In fact, after the success of DayZ and H1Z1, that's exactly what the PUBG devs have done. In addition to that, due to this business practice, we'll never actually get a fully "complete" survival game in this genre. It's wholly unprofitable. Sorry, but this business practice inherently encourages the company to drop it as soon as the money stops coming in. Especially given that this game is so focus-group tested that it'd be insane of it wasn't meant to survive for as long as it makes money.

The problem with playing solo in this game is that it feels very basic.
Like you mostly just hide and shoot everything.
When you have more people, you can start to make actual strategies, and fights become more complicated, since you have to fight other full teams, and the whole thing with revivals comes into play.

While I won't deny good gear and lucky circles make a big difference the most important factor is approaching circles from good angle, movement and a good brain for stealth routes. If you're good at planning how you want to approach/enter a circle and moving in a way across the map that's hard to spot you can make some punishing comebacks in the end-game consistently.

If all you have is a shotgun and you're not in the circle, then you're doing it wrong. You don't scavenge haphazardly and then run to the circle when there's 5 seconds left, that's how you lose.

What you need to do is go to the next circle asap and scavenge on the way to it.

When I'm playing this, randomly my left and right audio channels will switch. It only happens in this game, and the only way to fix it is to unplug and replug my usb headset. I will admit that it's a cheap 30 logitech headset, but this is the only game that it happens in and it makes it absolutely unplayable
