Tediore has fast reload and turns into a grenade when reloading
Dahl has burst fire when aiming down the sights
Hyperion has negative recoil where the gun becomes more accurate the more you shoot

Dahl is low recoil, but low accuracy.
Hyperion is low recoil and also high accuracy.
Torgue is high damage and fire rate, but high recoil and low accuracy.

Dahl, Hyperion and Bandit are so terrible in BL2. I mean, lots of guns are past level 50, but almost any given gun from those 3 manufacturers is guaranteed to remain below average for the entire game. They should lose the gimmicks and have them be rebalanced somehow in the next game.
Tediore's grenade thing is great, though, it saved my ass so many times during a second wind

BL2 had (mostly) better looking guns and animations but the weapons themselves.
Thumper SMGs and Anarchy's were so good, a good purple Anarchy could last you over 5 levels while in BL2 the guns become shit quick.
BL2 Hyperion guns were sexy as hell though.

The first game was god-tier. 2 was alright, but the writing was shit. Tales is good, too.

First one had dam good revolvers and rapidfire pistols
second has pure garbage of elemental shite and dartgun ehh
like you would use anything but ruby-garold-sandhawk anyway
no balance = bad game

I had a legendary smg last me from 30 to max level (including dlc) had to be a bug, was insanely strong.

I had a Tediore shotgun like that in 1. It only held 2 bullets, but each one did an insane amount of damage.
