respectable and intelligent people always knew moba were shit

I am willingly admitting I'm really fucking bad at MOBA games; but I just don't see how anyone can enjoy them. They are the same game every time: fight minions and maybe enemies for 40mins, get ganked or gank the enemy, blow up the base. Every time. Every, single, time.

If you even try and make a non-meta build for your hero, everyone just screams at you, or you lose because your character is a weak link.

I just don't get it, how can anyone enjoy it?

Mobas are acualy decent if you approach them as nothing more than party games.
They are excellent time killers.
Especially when you literally dont know what to do you can just play a random match of a random moba.

But as far as they go competitively they are complete garbage.

So that people can pretend they're gaymurs. You can ask the closest guy who likes playing MOBAs what other games they play and chances are its another moba or a sports game.
