Is this a legitimate copy of Advance Wars? it's my own copy that I plan on selling but it does not appear to contain the imprinted number that legit GBA games usually have on the sticker. I've looked at pictures of other copies though and they also do not seem to have that number
Here's a legit copy of Advance Wars 2 for comparison, you can clearly see the imprinted 22 on the bottom right

These aren't antiques anon, they are video games.

Yeah but a legit copy is still going to sell for a lot more than a fake
>>384117948
My copy of AW1 has the number imprinted in the wrench, under the S.
>>384118098
Thanks anon. Mines a fake then

First, try to find one with a printed number on google:
>https://www.google.com/search?q=Advance+Wars&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjEid344I3VAhWn7IMKHblRAewQ_AUICygC&biw=1859&bih=965#tbm=isch&q=advance+wars+cartridge&imgrc=_
Pro-tip: You can't. IE, a "real" probably never had one.

Looks legit. The font of "GameBoy Advance" is correct which normally will look larger and blockier. You have the seal and the Nintendo label in red has the little dot which is normally missing on fakes. Check the pins I'm not certain but it might say Nintendo on them

Not necessarily if that anon is from the US then everything about his might be different. Also, did you just buy it used? Also also, come on $25 isn't even that much money

>>384118098 here. I'm from Europe.
>>384117948
I don't see ESRP. Is this a US version or not?
Is a legitimate european version.
Pic related is the US version.
>>384120948
And pic related is the european version, see the differences? The most important think you have to check is the code on the bottom right, it tells you if it is EU or USA.
Mine has a 22 printed on the C in the CE (PAL Copy). If yours doesn't, it's probably fake.
Will take a pic in a sec.
Check the board you will be able to see without opening it. If it has Nintendo written on it then it's legit. The other way to tell is if it doesn't have the number emboss. Sorry to tell you anon but your cart is a fake.

>All these stupid people ITT looking at the differences in the label
This is why you ask this shit over at /vr/. Just look at how poorly glued and crooked the label is. Original games (that had, you know, machines putting the labels) would never have something like that.

Pic is of my cart (bought in store way back when).
I believe so.
99% of gba fakes have the wrong kind of font for GAME BOY ADVANCE.
If you look at the obvious fakes on ebay they all have way too thin writing but yours looks right since it's much flatter and more broad.
Granted manufacturers might realised that in recent years or they could have swapped the chip in a real cart but I've purchased dozens of gba games on ebay and never went wrong looking at the font.
Hey OP instead of asking a stupid question, try googling how to spot fakes.
Easy ones are all over the place

Not true, I have a legit boxed Pokemon Emerald with a really crooked label
