We are a group of people (env designers, modelers and programmers) who love Duke Nukem 3D. We are sad seeing how many of the classic fps get a nice treatment these days, like Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake or Shadow Warrior except Duke Nukem so we decided to remake at least 1 level and make it playable.
We dont want this to become another "a group of fans is remaking dn3d again, gearbox is shutting them off" so we prefer to work at our own rhythm without showing too much for the moment. We've been working for 5 months already. Would you answer a few questions?

Really? Duke? Why? His gameplay is nothing special. His lines aren't all that great. If this is lead by nostalgia I can understand but either way this is fanboyism that isn't even backed by the proper excuse of, "Oh, there's nothing like Metroid, there's no game out there with anything like the Shine Spark, so I made a fan game," since Duke is ultimately pretty fucking generic.

Duke Nukem 3D had a good weapon selection and the map design was pretty good.
Ultimately Shadow Warrior was a better game.

Sadly Duke Forever made a lot of harm to the franchise, its like Sonic 2006 and now Duke cant be taken seriously anymore.

Also, if you have the manpower and the time, why don't you make OC? It's like you don't have an ideas guy.
