We live in a world with both. Starcraft 2 already had godawful pricing for each of its expansions, which were really just the full game cut into chunks.

Overwatch chest was ok
HotS chest is good some how because of the constant epics and legendary you get from chest also reroll with gold is nice.

StarCraft 2 was barely alive during WoL and has steadily sunk so...

Worst thing about this is that I wanted some cosmetics for units on release.

It would have been a nice feature if they units appearances changed based on armor and weapon upgrades, instead of having to click on the unit to see what level they were at.

They did a patch in the LOTV beta that pretty much saved the game, but they reverted it

Starcraft 2 has had cosmetics and unlockables for years so this is really a pretty logical step. I'll get mad when you can buy gear crates in wow.

If you ignore the paid shit, the biggest disappointment is that the old design was EASY to find what you wanted.

Now you have to open menu after menu to hopefully find what you are looking for.

Especially patch notes, server status, etc.
