finished ZTD.
what. the. fuck. This ending made Mass Effect 3 seem like a fucking masterpiece. How in the fuck did they manage to outdo Bioware with this shit?
I'm fucking seething here. At least ME3 had a conclusion, even if it was shit.

/v/ has been saying for the past year that ZTD was a poor conclusion to the ZE series. The game got ~10/10 ratings because most people were either surprised that it came out at all or newbies to the series started with volume 3.
ZTD's conclusion, if you can call it that, was rather pointless because it just ends at10 people will stop some random terrorist from killing 8 billion. No indication on who that person is, why they are doing it or whatever. It basically feels similar to how VLR concluded. What makes it worse was the lead up to the conclusion and many parts in between were just garbage. It was not satisfying to play at all. Even if VLR had the cliffhanger, there were parts to it that were actually enjoyable but ZTD doesn't have any of those same redeeming qualities.
ZE2 and 3 should have been one game as a continuation to 999 and ZE2 and 3 should have also played standalone. None of this cliffhanger bullshit.
