Can we get a thread to share FPS games with fun 'campaigns' with a Quake/Unreal engine feel. Gold Source, iD Tech, etc...
Is No One Lives Forever a good series for kind of what I'm talking about? Never played...
This one almost feels like a 90s FPS game.
Tron 2.0
Painkiller is pretty fun.
Requiem: avenging angel
star trek: elite forces are pretty unknown but are comparable to jedi outcast/academy
klingon guard is pretty ok too although that uses the unreal engine
wheel of time (yes based on the books) also another UE1 game

>star trek: elite forces
Sounds kind of cool.

No One Lives Forever feels a bit more like a Goldeneye or Perfect Dark campaign than something like Quake/Unreal.

That game was seriously underrated

>Klingon Honor Guard
Now there's a game I'm surprised anyone here has played, that thing was impossible to run on all but a slim selection of hardware.

I played it with software rendering

they are like the twin of jedi knight
allied assault is the best FPS campaign i have ever played
postal 2 is a surprisingly solid goldsrc feeling shooter
brutal doom
hl mods (they live is pretty good, though hard as balls)
Redneck Rampage
HeXen 1 and 2
Oni
There was this FPS I saw mentioned here, it had the dreary atmosphere of STALKER but played like Serious Sam/Painkiller. Anyone know the name?
