Hitman, Furi, and Doom were all top contenders for GOTY 2016 and they're all western. I will admit that 2017 is Year of the Weeb so far though with Zelda and Yakuza 0 especially killing it.

I stopped caring about Nintendo games after 2014 and I don't like the souls born games. I don't really care or like anime games in general and most jrpgs are the same tired old anine themes. I been having fun playing 6th gen, 7th and 8th gen western games this summer. Just beat sudeki and kya dark lineage the other day and now currently playing tak and the power of juju, mark of kri, darksiders 1 and giana sisters.
