What's your favorite fighting game and why?

Since we have EVO going on I thought it would be nice to talk about what our favorite games are and why.

I really like Bloody Roar Primal Fury. It's the only fighting game my casual friends actually got into, even the one's who play nothing but sports games and walking sims.
It's flawed for sure and lacking in content but I must have sunk hundreds of hours into it over the last year or so.
KoF 98 is really good too but that series kinda blends together in my mind.

It's probably a tie between ST and SF4 AE. USFIV is fun too as a game but watching it competitively got boring real fast due to how good Elena was.

I really like Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in terms of style presentation. It's also the fighting game I'm best at.
More recently though I'd say Ultimate Marvel v. Capcom 3 for that god-tier roster and tight ass air combos, really enjoying it despite being late to the party. Cannot believe how bad MvCI is looking.

It has it's issues, but much better to play and watch compared to IJ2 and SFV.
