/v/ how do I git gud at Counter Strike GO? I literally just got the game today and it's my first time playing.
I'm getting crushed everywhere. I'll be shooting at some person what seems like I'm hitting them and then I'll instantly die.
When it shows me the kill cam it looks like the enemy I was shooting has been shooting me way before any of my shots went off.
How do I fix this? Is this some sort of 5D chess where I have to shoot 10 seconds before a person appears on my screen?

Anyways it's just a matter of memorizing map layouts and common enemy spots and listening for footsteps. You'll find it's ultimately pretty dull. I recommend playing a Quake clone instead.

Don't come to /v/ for advice on CS:GO, go somewhere else. The CS:GO Steam Community has guides, you can find people on YouTube, or even go to the csgo reddit.
Just don't mention the game here, people sperg on about how boring it is.
