Are JRPG's just not intended for people with jobs? Persona 5 was my first experience with the series and I loved it so much that I thought I'd play my way through the whole series on my vita in reverse order. Now I'm only half way through P4G and the remake of FFXII just came out, and I still haven't even started XV yet. How the fuck am I supposed to keep up with all of these 100+ hour games?

>tfw still havent completed persona 3, 4 or 5.
i have roughly 40 hours on 3, roughly 60 on 4 and 20 on 5.
fuck man being a wagie sucks so much cock
The primary audience of jrpgs are adolescents. So basically yes.
But most of them are not as long as P4/5. The VN/life sim stuff really bloats the playtime.
Why do people say this? Games in general just aren't for people with lifes, wives/girlfriends, children, etc. this doesn't just apply to jrpgs. I work 9-5 wagie and have plenty of time for games after work and on the weekend. But I have no gf and almost no friends.

You know you probably would've finished at least one of them if you didn't jump around.

Honestly, I have more time for games now than I did when I was a teen during normal weeks. Work lasts a little longer than school did, but no homework and I can be efficient about cleaning/cooking/etc instead of doing all the dumb shit my parents made me do

I tend to play them on my commute. That's the only time I really have to play these kinds of games, which means I beat Persona 4 Golden but 5 I might not play for a long time.
Typically JRPG players tend to stay playing those games and don't branch out as much I found. It's like MMO players. You kind of just stick to that genre. It's easier to beat more of them if it's all you really play.

Play a bunch on the weekends. 4 to 5 hours plus 1 to 2 after work will get most done in a month or so.

never understood this, I have a regular 9-5 and was able to put in 100 hours in a month and a half.
what do you do where you can't fit in ~2 hrs a day?
