Sonic Adventure 2 was garbage in retrospect. Every level that wasn't Sonic or Shadow was god awful. You know it too because if you ever grinded for rings or drives for the chao garden, you ALWAYS played the sonic/shadow levels.

Well, I completely disagree I never had any of those problems playing those stages. They were straightforward and simple, and Ithe camera never got in my way so I don't know where that's coming from. As for the stages being slow or boring I again have to disagree, there were 1 or 2 stages that could drag on but I never found the stages slow or boring, mech stages like prison isle and the ark seem to have a fast pace, and the knuckles stages pace depended more on how good you were at those stages.

you're entitled to your own opinion and I respect it, but my opinion still doesn't change that sonic adventure 2 was garbage. even if you excuse the level designs; just think about how bad the audio sync and acting was in cutscenes, how retarded the plot and characters were, and how awfully tacked on the multiplayer was.

I didn't excuse the level design because I feel there's nothing to excuse, it was fine. As for the cutscenes, yeah they weren't very good, but they were also from the Dreamcast era, and the gameplay is the main point of the game. The story was okay, not good but not terrible. Also if you genuinely don't like the game that's fine, opinions and all that. However like I said before for the past years or so any discussion of sonic has been flooded with claiming that SA2 is garbage and that everyone who likes it is blinded by nostalgia, wiht no real reasoning. It's almost become as much a meme as hating sonic in general.
