Was anyone else really looking forward to this until this year's Sony Showcase? If the remit was basically open-world Last of Us, I could see it being a lot of fun.

But the recent gameplay demo brought us QTEs, fucking detective vision, marking enemies with binoculars, crafting from plants in the world and outposts with percentage completion.

Say it with me: open-world third person games with RPG elements are the new modern military shooter. BotW, Horizon, Witcher, Mass Effect, Farcry, all of it. Awful.
