Nope. You'll feel pretty burnt out if you start another one right after finishing one game. They're all pretty fun but going from endgame to the baby tutorials in Dream Team feels terrible.

Ignore what everyone else says they hate Partners in Time for some reason despite it being the second best one

Superstar Saga is phenomenal.
Bowser's Inside Story is great.
Dream Team is pretty good, but with issues.

Don't bother with Partners in Time or Paper Jam unless you complete the other three games and you're just REALLY itching for another.

Come on, even PiT and PJ are fine. PJ's only big issue is the Toad missions, otherwise it's mechanically sound.

They're all pretty competent but personally I find that I burn out on these games really hard in the last third.

I never beat the final boss of Inside Story, Dream Team I did finish and then Paper Jam I also didn't finish the final boss.

It's an excellent game by all means, but the sound quality can sound REALLY iffy, some ideas in it aren't too hot, but
The Bros. Attacks are arguably the most engaging attacks in the series - they're swift(IMPORTANT), effective and simple
Superstar Saga is also the only game with five boss fight themes in total, one of which was literally made to be used ONCE and it wasn't even the final boss theme, but that kind of dedication is rad
BiS is VERY nicely polished so SSS will show its' age - if you have a 3DS though and monies an SSS remaster is on the way and you might wanna wait for it, but the original art style was changed to the more recent one and you should really see how charming it originally was

it's probably because the puzzles feel weird and inorganic. some of them are kind of clever, but they always feel too "marioish", instead of their own living breathing world, like say Mario rpg. they have to constantly remind you you're playing a Mario game and it winds up feeling artificial and like a commercial or something.

yeah, the series is pretty darn consistent in quality and all worth playing. I'd save PJ for last sbecause they kicked up the damage enemies do in that entry. you can decide for yourself whether you want to wait for the Superstar Saga remake or just play the GBA version
