Original has better weapon sounds, better mutant/human appearance, and better graphics. They went overboard with post-processing in redux.

Also, original has much better stealth/ai. In the original human enemies heard for example when you stepped on glass but they removed all this kind of things from redux. You can kill someone almost in front of an npc and he won't even notice it just because there is no light near you. In the darkness you're practically a ghost
